Acne Treatment skin care

1. Stopped your acne from developing, this is the most important rule to remember, if you have acne you should treat it early, so that it will not develop into a severe case of acne, there are many acne medications you can use to start treating your acne, some acne medications contain benzoyl peroxide that can heal acne fast, some acne medications contained benzoyl peroxide and aloe-Vera extract which are very effective elements that can heal acne fast and remove acne scars.

2. Avoid squeezing; popping or picking your pimples I know it is very tempting to squeeze that pimple, but if you do this, you will further spread the infection deeper into your skin, the bacteria from your hands will transfer on the acne-affected skin that you have touched, and those bacteria will spread creating more infection in your acne-affected skin, also squeezing a pimple can actually push the bacteria deeper into the skin, this will make the condition of your acne worse.

3. Avoid irritating those inflamed acne lesions, inflamed acne lesions are the number one responsible and contributor of deep acne scars, this kind of acne is filled with pus, and is painful to touch, donâ??t irritate this kind of acne by scrubbing or any method that can irritate it, because in the end if this kind of acne were irritated will develop into a deep scar after it healed.

4. Dermabrasion is a medical procedure used by dermatologist this process involves removing the surface of the skin by abrasion, this medical procedure is very painful and takes several months to heal; dermabrasion is useful for removing scars or any imperfection on the skin.

5. Medications with aloe Vera extracts, a medication that contains aloe Vera extracts are good for removing acne scars, aloe Vera has a respectable reputation for removing scars, for moisturizing the skin, as anti-inflammatory agents, aloe Vera contains anti-bacterial properties that fights infection, tightens and balances the skin, it minimizes scarring and speeds-up healing. Aloe Veras regenerate and heal scars from inside out, because it has enzymes that help skin tissue regenerate, it is used to heal pimples, cuts, psoriasis, itching, burns and many skin problems.

Remember that if you have acne, you should not waste time to treat it right away, you need to act fast to free yourself from acne, this is the most important thing you should always remember.

Coconut Oil Treatment moisturizing

Almost 100% of people between the ages of twelve and seventeen have at least occasional breakouts of whiteheads, blackheads or a pimple, now and then. The problem with most acne treatments and acne products is that not everyone reacts the same way to the same treatment; what worked for one may not work for another. Because I’m a registered nurse and have come in contact with many acne patients, I’ve learned a lot over the years about acne, acne scars, and acne treatments.

Baby acne is a rash seen on the cheeks, chin, and forehead of infants. Acne vulgaris is most commonly experienced around puberty, typically of the face, shoulders and chest. In a survey conducted in Great Britain, 95% of 16-year-old males and 83% of 16 year-old females had acne. While almost all young people experience acne at least once, it’s been reported that 47% of those in their 20s and 30% of those in their 30s had acne.

Understanding that hormones may have some influence on the cause of acne is still being researched. New studies show that during times of high emotional stress, such as during exam time in high school, there are more acne breakouts; so are stress hormones the culprits? The cause of acne is unknown and there is still much to be learned.

Avoid Your Acne By Galvanic Spa Without Destroying Your Face

Friday, November 20th, 2009

When I look in the mirror every morning I see a attractive person :) . Well, this person should be even nicer without those little white dots all around my skin. I have seen a lot of Youtube videos showing people removing their acne and it was literally one of the most disgusting thing I have ever seen. Some of them were blowing all over the camera.

Enough of this disgusting stuff. Let´s talk about something more positive for example, how to erase this awful dots. I know that Galvanic Spa can reduce or absolutely erase wrinkles but what about acne?
First of all I would like to give a small definition of what acne actually is because you have to know your enemy first to destroy him.
Acne is an inflammatory condition of the greasy secreter associated with classic superficial skin bursts that are caused by the clogging of skin pores. It is a disease of greasy secreter, which leads to block pores and sowing lesions called comedones.

Acne usually occurs on the face, neck, back, chest and shoulders. It describes the condition as a hair-sebaceous unit situated on the fault surface of the body. Hair-sebaceous unit consists of a sebaceous gland linked to the hair canal, called the follicle. These units are the biggest and most numerous on the face, the upper back and chest.

Acne is among one of the most obvious incessant diseases of the skin and also the most common skin disease in the adolescent age youth. Unfortunately, it is often considered frivolous disease puberty with minimal, stereotyped or uniform concern about his medical treatment.

It is a targeted therapy in most cases, victorious and no one may pain unaesthetic cutaneous manifestations that are classic for this disease. Although acne most often affects young people during puberty may also occur in newborns, children before puberty, and older adults . Thanks to targeted therapy and early treatment can be not only succeed but also significantly compress the risk of permanent scars, which are often inherent in that inadequately treated acne, especially in pubertal age boys.

So how to remove it? The answer is NuSkin Galvanic Spa. This little hand held machine is the way to erase your acne forever if you use the right galvanic spa acne gels. Treatment gels work with the third layer of the face so they can neutralize the source of the problem, not the surface.
Galvanic Spa System also known as Galvanic Spa II or Wrinkle Iron is available in complete set so you will have everything you need in one place including Galvanic Spa treatment gels.
Do not waste your cash buying some useless “nutriol” lotions and potions and rather invest little more money in the one time investment into your skin for a long term results.

A Simple Cystic Acne Diet- The Most Important Things

Wednesday, November 4th, 2009

If you suffer from severe acne, you’ve probably tried a lot of different treatments to get rid of your cystic acne. One of the most often overlooked, however, is a cystic acne diet. These diets can clear up acne like no other treatment can (aside from potentially harmful prescription drugs). Here are 3 important things that you’ll want to keep in mind as your embark upon your diet.

1. Replenish Your Fluids
Drinking lots of water is very important when you begin a severe acne diet, because it can really help cleanse your body. It flushes out toxins and transports nutrients to your organs and your skin, which will make you feel and look great. Drinking at least 8 glasses a day is sufficient and 10 glasses should be a maximum for your acne diet cure.

2. Things to Eat
On the internet, it is not clear to find out what foods can break you out and what can’t. The thing is, everyone reacts differently to different foods, so while dairy might not make one person break out, it will for countless others. The same applies to gluten and red meat. You need to narrow down what breaks you out and what doesn’t through testing some of the more common things that contribute to acne, like those I just mentioned.

Some of the better foods that rarely cause acne are leafy green vegetables like kale and spinach, and bright colored fruits like apples and limes. Try to eat more of these in place of the things that you subtract from your acne diet cure.

3. Exercise
Lastly, you’ll want to keep in shape and exercise throughout your entire severe acne diet. Exercising can be good for acne because when you sweat, you release a lot of contaminants. This includes toxins that can oxidize your skin and make you break out. Heavy weight lifting should be avoided though, because it can make your body output more testosterone that will make you break out. Instead, try running or doing some light aerobics to keep yourself in shape.

Beginning a cystic acne diet isn’t really all that tough, you just need to keep motivated. It can be hard to stick to a certain cystic acne diet for a lengthy period of time to find what might be breaking you out, so I suggest using the these tips in your acne regimen for a consistent period of time.

Science Of Acne In Layman’s Terms

Friday, October 30th, 2009

In a nutshell, a few simple steps occur that cause skin blemishes. First, acne occurs when for some unknown reason or combination of reasons, hair follicles, also known as pores, become blocked. Although the exact combination of reasons that pores become clogged may not be fully known, many contributing elements for teenagers and adults alike can include; genetics (whether or not there is a history of acne problems and if so, to what extent), hormones, dietary and vitamin make up (or lack of /deficiency) and stress related factors. Other denominators could include factors like how your body normally rids itself of its dead skin cells and influences that may be working against this regularity (for example climate and other environmental forces or overall body health at the time) and your hormones and their effect on your own body’s sebum production (especially for females).

Second, the normal dead skin cells that combine with your body’s natural sebum oil as it drains through the skin’s surface become clogged in these blocked pores. This substance becomes somewhat sticky, further clogging the passageway.

Third, bacteria begins to grow around these clogged areas. As a normal reaction your, your body’s white blood cells attack the bacteria, fighting it and pushing it out of the body.

And forth, the resulting growths during this 14-day to 21-day battle are called microcomedones. Microcomedones turn into comedones, commonly referred to as blemishes, pimples or acne.

There are basically four types of acne; whiteheads, blackheads, pimples and nodules. Whiteheads are when the sebum (oil) and resulting bacteria are trapped below the skinÕs surface and you can actually see a white head appear above (or near popping out of) the skin. Blackheads are when the sebum and resulting bacteria are only partially trapped, slowly draining out the surface and turning black because of your skinÕs melanin or pigmentation. In the absence of either white or blackhead are generally (but not always) smaller pimples. And the often deeper, boil-like lesions are referred to as nodules.

All forms of acne can be mild, moderate or severe. Typically, mild acne is visible in the form of whiteheads and blackheads, sometimes pimples. With moderate acne, more pimples and pustules are present on the face, some may appear on the back or chest. And with severe acne, many nodules develop, often large and sore, over parts of the face, back, chest and other body areas. This type of acne can lead to scarring. Actually, lesser cases of acne have been followed by scarring. So for those with possible nodular acne, seeking advice from a healthcare provider as soon as possible is recommended.

A gender issue to note is that males more often have the severe form of acne rather than females, due to their hormones. And the areas where they tend to break out most frequently are unfortunately more difficult to treat, the chest and back.

Do You Have Rosacea? How To Diagnose This Chronic Skin Condition.

Wednesday, October 28th, 2009

If you suffer from a red complexion, flushing or blushing, a red nose and cheeks and dry, flaky skin with pimples, you probably suffer from the chronic skin condition rosacea. Formerly known as acne rosacea, rosacea is more common in women than men, although men often have more severe symptoms. Most people who have rosacea are fair-skinned, fair-haired and blue-eyed, although it is also seen more rarely in dark-skinned people. The disease affects at least 14 million people in the United States of America, typically between 20 and 50 years of age.

The main symptoms of the skin condition are:

- a burning or tingling sensation
- a persistant redness after blushing or flushing
- pimples, papules or pustules on the face
- tiny visible blood vessels under the skin
- thickening of skin, especially around the nose area
- gritty, uncomfortable eyes (ocular rosacea)

The true cause of rosacea is not really known but certain factors are known to aggravate the condition. Sufferers should avoid exposure to extreme temperatures and weather, such as the sun, the cold and wind. Sun avoidance is particularly important, and sun screens, hats and parasols are useful ways to avoid sun-related flare-ups. Alcohol and hot drinks and food are also known to excacerbate rosacea, as is exercising in hot temperatures and hot showers, baths, steam rooms and saunas. Loofahs, rough towels, exfoliators, astringents and cosmetics with perfumes and many additives should also be avoided. Gentle perfume-free cover-up cosmetics can help disguise a flare-up and reduce the psychological and social effects of rosacea.

Rosacea is a condition that is controlled rather than cured and many people find that keeping a diary helps them to pin-point their own triggers. Keeping cool, drinking water to stay hydrated and using natural gentle skin care products go a long way to controlling this chronic condition.

You should, of course, consult your dermatologist for advice about prescription creams and other procedures that may be available to relieve the symptoms of rosacea. Generally, rosacea treatment is aimed at the control of redness, inflammation and skin eruptions, and this treatment is necessary to prevent permanent damage to the skin.

If he decides that you do have rosacea, a dermatologist will often prescribe a combination of oral antibiotics and the use of antibiotic gel as initial treatment. The oral antibiotics will reduce the redness and reduce the pustules, then the topical gel may help to keep the symptoms under control. The dermatologist will also be able to help a patient look at lifestyle factors to help control the rosacea in the future.

Steroids are also often prescribed for rosacea because they appear to relieve the symptoms quickly, but sufferers should be aware that topical steroids are thought to make the symptoms worse longterm. The steroids dilate the blood vessels in the face and thin the skin and dermis by breaking down elastin and collagen in the skin’s structure. Topical steroids have actually been thought to cause rosacea in the first place in some instances.

All Things Talking About Acne Scars Treatment

Friday, July 3rd, 2009

Scar treatment is required to restore the appearance of face. Scarring of the acne can also be a serious problem. Scars from acne can have a serious effect on a person’s self-esteem and emotional state. Although all scar treatment products and services are claiming to be the best, the best scar treatment must revive the person’s original skin. Individual requirement is different from person to person and all skins are not equal. But there are some guidelines which help in selecting the best treatment for acne scar.

1.Inquire about how much the treatment costs.
2.Learn how a treatment works on your skin.
3.Be sure that you are not allergic to a scar treatment product by applying small amount of that product on your skin and watch the reaction for 24 hours.
4.Don’t be prejudice with a particular acne scar treatment and be skeptical about the tall claims.

There are some options for acne scar treatment:
1.Dermal fillers
This type of treatment aims to raise your skin’s surface to give a smoother outlook by injecting certain ingredients such as fat and human collagen on your skin.

2.Punch excision
By using this type of scar treatment, the scar is removed with the use of a punch tool.

3.Punch elevation
In this method, a punch biopsy tool is used to remove the base of the scars. After removing, the punch tool is used to elevate the base and to attach it to the surface area of the skin. This acne scar treatment is beneficial in terms of reducing the risk of getting skin in different color or texture.

4.Subcutaneous incision
This type of treatment is done by inserting a beveled needle under your skin to parallel the infected area on the skin’s surface. After which, the needle is pulled in so as to cut the tethering bands.

5.Laser resurfacing
This is the most popular type of acne scar treatment. This burns the top most layer of the skin with depth precision. The skin will then heal and replaced the burned layer with new smoother appearing skin.

Finally, the best benefit of making the best choice for acne scar treatment is the fact that the method chosen should clear the scar and clear it forever without side effects. There has always been controversy that has always surrounded most of the acne scar treatments if it really works. If your expectation is total restoration, it is impossible. If you are looking for that youthful skin of your childhood, stop right there. It is an unrealistic expectation that could leave you very disappointed. You must realize that the main objective of acne scars treatment is to basically provide to you an acceptable look.

Finding The Best Acne Treatments That Work

Thursday, July 2nd, 2009

A lot of people think of acne as just one of those annoying things that everyone has to go to in adolescence, but for some people it is much worse. Acne treatments are usually simply a convenience – something to make pimply teens feel better about the way they look – but if you have severe scarring acne, they are a necessity.

Bad acne sometimes is something that will not go away on its own without proper care and treatment. It can definitely leave scars on the face that can last for the rest of your life if it is so severe.

That doesn’t mean that every acne treatment has to be drastic. A lot of people get by with pretty simple acne treatments using little more than soap, water, and common sense. When my best friend in high school came down with a bad acne breakout, his mom put him on a strict diet. He ate a lot of fruits and vegetables, cut out all processed foods, and gave up beef and fatty meats.

In addition, he got an acne cleanser – basically rubbing alcohol with a little mojo – and took to washing his face three or four times a day. His face cleared up within a week, all without the use of any drastic acne treatments.

Things were different in my case where I got only a little help from facial cleansers and soaps. Eating a bad diet made my acne worse, but eating a good diet did not make it better either. My mom took me to the dermatologist because she got so worried that I could get scars.

The doctor was glad that I had come in. Apparently, acne scar treatment is a whole lot more difficult than treating the acne itself before it gets to that point. He provided a facial cream called Retin-A, and told me to come back if the problem did not go away.

In the beginning, I was doubtful that things would improve or get better. Things had hardly improved after four days of using his prescribed acne treatments and it made me more skeptical. Nevertheless, I decided to be patient and gave it another week. Little by little my face started to improve and looked much better.

The cream did not work by itself, but with the aid of careful eating habits and frequent facial cleansing, it did the job. Soon, I was almost entirely pimple free. I still had to watch out for occasional breakouts, but after going to the doctor, it was never that bad anymore.
